Man Fatally Shot Outside South Memphis Convenience Store

MEMPHIS, TN — A man identified as Sean Don was fatally shot outside a South Memphis convenience store on Friday evening, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD).

Authorities say the shooting occurred just before 5:00 p.m. at the South Memphis Market, located at 1432 Elvis Presley Boulevard.

Officers responded to the scene at approximately 4:57 p.m., where they located a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim, later identified as Sean Don, was transported in critical condition to Regional One Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

At this time, no suspects have been detained, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Police have not yet released a possible motive or suspect description.

MPD is urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has information related to the shooting to contact CrimeStoppers at 901-528-CASH. Tips can remain anonymous, and callers may be eligible for a cash reward.

Suspect in custody after shooting at Meridian Mall

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.

As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.

The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.

At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.

Law enforcement officials continue to investigate the incident and are expected to provide additional information as it becomes available.

The public is asked to remain clear of the immediate area to allow for the ongoing investigation.
