Ezekiel Burden and Brian Campbell wanted in deadly Lumberton Walmart shooting
The Lumberton Police Department is actively seeking two individuals, including a 17-year-old, in connection with the fatal shooting of a woman at a Walmart on Fayetteville Road, Lumberton.
Authorities have identified the suspects as 17-year-old Ezekiel Burden and 18-year-old Brian Campbell.
Burden is wanted on charges of first-degree murder and weapons violations, while Campbell faces charges of accessory after the fact.
The incident occurred on Friday at the Woodforest Bank inside the Walmart, where police say the suspects targeted two individuals they knew who were waiting in line.
Tragically, the gunfire struck 42-year-old Brandy Olson, a resident of Lumberton, who was also in line but was not one of the intended targets.
Witnesses at the scene attempted life-saving measures until emergency medical services arrived. Olson was transported to a local hospital but succumbed to her injuries shortly thereafter.

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.
