According to authorities, Humble Police Department officers were pursuing a male suspect driving a stolen vehicle.
The suspect refused to stop, leading to a high-speed chase.
The pursuit ended in a collision between the suspect’s vehicle and Spivey’s car.
She was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition but sadly succumbed to her injuries.

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
