1 killed after shooting in Roanoke Rapids
ROANOKE RAPIDS, NC — Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the area of 2nd and Monroe Streets in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina.
According to initial reports, officers responded to the scene following calls of gunfire.
Upon arrival, law enforcement confirmed that one individual had been fatally shot.

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
