35-year-old Kiree Gray Killed in Toledo Shooting

TOLEDO, OH – Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning, resulting in the death of 35-year-old Kiree Gray.

According to the Toledo Police Department (TPD), officers responded to a shots fired call in the 800 block of North Ontario Street at approximately 2:30 a.m.

Upon arrival, they discovered Gray suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

Emergency medical personnel transported Gray to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries despite life-saving efforts.

Authorities have not identified any suspects, and the motive behind the shooting remains unclear.

Detectives are actively reviewing evidence and seeking witness statements to piece together the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Suspect in custody after shooting at Meridian Mall

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.

As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.

The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.

At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.

Law enforcement officials continue to investigate the incident and are expected to provide additional information as it becomes available.
