Denver Police Investigate Homicide After Fatal Shooting in Cole Neighborhood

Denver, CO – Authorities have launched a homicide investigation following the fatal shooting of a woman in Denver’s Cole neighborhood late Thursday night.
The victim has been identified as Nyeesha Howard.
At approximately 10:20 p.m. on March 21, officers from the Denver Police Department (DPD) responded to a report of a shooting in the 2200 block of East Bruce Randolph Avenue.
Upon arrival, they located an adult female victim suffering from gunshot wounds.
However, the extent of her injuries was not immediately known.
Nearly 12 hours later, at around 10:00 a.m. on Friday, police confirmed that Howard had succumbed to her injuries, and the case was reclassified as a homicide investigation.
At this time, no information has been released regarding a suspect, and authorities have not disclosed any potential motives behind the shooting.

Suspect in custody after shooting at Meridian Mall

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.
Law enforcement officials continue to investigate the incident and are expected to provide additional information as it becomes available.
