Marquette University Senior John Koser Found Deceased in Off-Campus Apartment

Milwaukee, WI – Marquette University has confirmed the passing of a senior student in the College of Business Administration, who was found deceased in their off-campus apartment on Thursday.

Family members have identified the student as 21-year-old John Koser, a business major at Marquette University.

According to reports, Koser was discovered unresponsive in his apartment at Campus Town East.

At this time, the cause of death has not been disclosed.

In a statement to the university community, Marquette officials expressed deep sorrow over the student’s passing, extending condolences to Koser’s family, friends, faculty, and fellow students.

Suspect in custody after shooting at Meridian Mall

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.

As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.

The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.

At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.
