1 Dead, 2 Wounded in North County St. Louis Shooting
The St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Crimes Against Persons is conducting a homicide investigation following a shooting that occurred near the intersection of W. Florissant Avenue and Dunn Road on the evening of March 2.
At approximately 7:36 p.m., officers from the North County Precinct responded to reports of gunfire in the area.
Upon arrival, they discovered three individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.
One adult male was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
A second victim sustained life-threatening injuries but is expected to survive, while a third individual was taken to a separate medical facility with non-life-threatening injuries.
At this time, no suspects are in custody, and the investigation remains active.

Suspect in custody after shooting at Meridian Mall
MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.
Law enforcement officials continue to investigate the incident and are expected to provide additional information as it becomes available.
The public is asked to remain clear of the immediate area to allow for the ongoing investigation.
