Authorities are actively searching for suspects involved in the fatal shooting of a 49-year-old man during an alleged dispute over a parking space in the Bronx.

The incident occurred shortly before 2 a.m. on Saturday in front of a residential building on Fowler Avenue.

According to initial reports, the victim, identified as Trevor Hughes, became involved in an argument with two men over a parking spot.

The New York City Police Department (NYPD) stated that the suspects were last seen fleeing the scene in a Jeep SUV.

Hours after the shooting, police had cordoned off the area, with crime scene tape still surrounding Hughes’ building.
