Grant County Authorities Investigating Fatal Shooting That Left One Dead, One Injured

GRANT COUNTY, AR – The Grant County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) has launched an investigation following a shooting incident that resulted in the death of an adult female and left a juvenile injured.
According to officials, deputies responded to reports of a shooting at a residence on Grant 56 on January 22. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered an adult female and a juvenile suffering from gunshot wounds.
Despite life-saving efforts, the adult female was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The juvenile victim was transported to Arkansas Children’s Hospital, where they are currently listed in stable condition.
Authorities have confirmed that Jason Rucker has been taken into custody in connection with the shooting.
He is presently being held at the Sheridan Detention Center as the investigation remains ongoing.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office continues to gather evidence and urges anyone with information related to the incident to come forward.

Suspect in custody after shooting at Meridian Mall

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.
Law enforcement officials continue to investigate the incident and are expected to provide additional information as it becomes available.
