3 killed after shooting near Karns Park in south Columbus
Columbus, Ohio – A tragic shooting on the city’s south side left three individuals dead on Saturday afternoon, according to a dispatcher from Columbus’ public safety department.
The shooting occurred in the 1300 block of South Ohio Avenue, near Karns Park and just off Thurman Avenue.
Officers responded to the scene at approximately 3:50 p.m. following a report of gunfire.
Three individuals were found at the scene and were pronounced dead by 4:00 p.m.
Details regarding the circumstances leading up to the shooting remain unclear. Authorities have not yet released information about a potential suspect or motive.

Suspect in custody after shooting at Meridian Mall

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.
