Man shot and killed in officer-involved shooting at Chevron gas station in Conyers
Rockdale County, GA – A fatal officer-involved shooting occurred at a Chevron gas station on Sigman Road in Conyers, Georgia, on Wednesday morning.
Conyers Police Department responded to a call about a disturbance at the gas station, where a man was refusing to leave.
A confrontation ensued, leading to the officer-involved shooting.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has taken over the investigation into the incident.
Additionally, the Conyers Police Department’s Internal Affairs Division is conducting a standard review.
It has been determined that the suspect, who has not been publicly identified, crashed a truck into the gas station during the incident.
MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.
