22-year-old Tyshaun Hines killed in Fayetteville shooting

Fayetteville, North Carolina – A young man was tragically killed in a shooting incident that occurred Friday afternoon in Fayetteville.

The Fayetteville Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 900 block of Greenleaf Drive at approximately 4:51 PM.

Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male, identified as Tyshaun Hines, 22, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Medical personnel were called to the scene, and Hines was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.

Fayetteville / Cumberland County Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for any information that leads to the arrest of the individual responsible for the shooting.

Detectives with the Homicide Unit are investigating the case and are urging anyone with information or video footage to contact Detective S. Berrios at 910-703-6243 or Crimestoppers at 910-483-TIPS (8477).

Suspect in custody after shooting at Meridian Mall

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.

As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.

The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.

At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.

Law enforcement officials continue to investigate the incident and are expected to provide additional information as it becomes available.

The public is asked to remain clear of the immediate area to allow for the ongoing investigation.
