18-year-old Nickolas Moore arrested after threats of shooting at Morgantown High School
Moore was released on a $30,000 bond.

Morgantown, West Virginia (October 9, 2024) – A St. Louis man has been arrested in connection with threats made against Morgantown High School.
Nickolas Moore, 18, was taken into custody on charges of threats of terroristic acts.
The arrest follows an investigation launched by the Morgantown Police Department on August 28th.
The department received information about a social media post circulating online that allegedly contained a threat of a shooting at Morgantown High School.
Detectives, working in collaboration with the FBI and Monongalia County Schools, immediately initiated an investigation into the source of the threat.
Through their investigation, authorities determined that Moore was located in St. Louis and that the weapons depicted in the post were airsoft guns.
The St. Louis County Police Department arrested Moore in Missouri on September 20th, and he was subsequently extradited to West Virginia on October 4th.
Moore was released on a $30,000 bond.
The Morgantown Police Department continues its ongoing investigation into this matter.

Suspect in custody after shooting at Meridian Mall

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.
Law enforcement officials continue to investigate the incident and are expected to provide additional information as it becomes available.
The public is asked to remain clear of the immediate area to allow for the ongoing investigation.
