Andrew Greer-Herrera and Trevon Evanoff identified as suspects in fatal Redding mass shooting

UPDATE: One of the suspects involved in the tragic double-homicide that occurred in southwest Redding on October 4th has been apprehended. Trevon Evanoff, 18, was arrested in Reno, Nevada, on Sunday, October 6th, by members of the Sparks Police Department’s Regional Crime Suppression Unit.
The arrest was made in response to a request from Redding detectives who believed Evanoff was likely in the Reno area. Evanoff was taken into custody on an outstanding murder warrant issued in connection with the double-homicide case.

The Redding Police Department (RPD) released an update on a tragic shooting incident that occurred on Friday morning, October 4th, in southwest Redding. The incident resulted in the deaths of two individuals and left three others injured.
At approximately 2:41 AM, RPD received multiple calls reporting gunfire and gunshot victims near the intersection of Westside Road and Meadowbrook Drive.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered two deceased men. Their identities have not been publicly released pending notification of their families.
Additionally, three adult victims, two females and one male, were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries sustained in the shooting.
Two of the victims have since been released, while one female remains hospitalized.
RPD detectives have been diligently working to identify, locate, and apprehend those responsible for the shooting.
Their investigation led them to identify 19-year-old Andrew Greer-Herrera of Lookout, California, as the primary suspect.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Greer-Herrera on homicide charges, but his whereabouts remain unknown.
Furthermore, detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for Trevon Evanoff, 18, on charges of conspiracy related to the shooting.
Evanoff’s location is also currently unknown.

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.
Law enforcement officials continue to investigate the incident and are expected to provide additional information as it becomes available.
The public is asked to remain clear of the immediate area to allow for the ongoing investigation.
