The shooting took place at 11 a.m. in the victim’s private room, where there were no witnesses present.
Emergency services were immediately notified, and both victims were pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s name has not been publicly released.

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
