Montgomery Police Arrest Lepedro Grant in Fatal Shooting of 26-Year-Old Ki’era Campbell

MONTGOMERY, Ala. — The Montgomery Police Department has announced the arrest of a suspect in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred early Sunday morning.
Officers and fire medics responded to reports of a shooting around 3 a.m. in the 3300 block of Royal Carriage Drive.
Upon arrival, authorities discovered Ki’era Campbell, 26, suffering from a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following an investigation, police identified 19-year-old Lepedro Grant as the suspect in the fatal shooting.
He was taken into custody on Tuesday and has been charged with two counts of capital murder.
Grant is currently being held at the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
At this time, police have not released additional details regarding the motive or circumstances surrounding the incident.

Suspect in custody after shooting at Meridian Mall

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.
Law enforcement officials continue to investigate the incident and are expected to provide additional information as it becomes available.
