Mothers Day Murder-Suicide in Kalispell: 4 people found dead in Silverbrook Estates
KALISPELL, Mont. — The Kalispell Police Department has launched a homicide investigation after four individuals were discovered shot to death inside a home in the Silverbrook Estates neighborhood on Sunday morning.
According to Kalispell Police Chief Jordan Venezio, officers responded to the residence following a call reporting a mental health concern.
Upon arrival, officers entered the home and found four deceased individuals, all of whom appeared to have sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
Chief Venezio emphasized that the incident is believed to be isolated, and there is currently no threat to the public.
Police did not indicate whether a suspect has been identified or whether one of the deceased may have been responsible for the shootings.
The identities of the victims have not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.
Authorities have not disclosed additional details about the nature of the relationships between those involved or the circumstances leading up to the incident.
A significant law enforcement presence remains at the scene as investigators work to process evidence and gather information.

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
