Glendale police say two of the deceased victims were brothers, ages 17 and 29.
GLENDALE, Ariz. — A devastating shooting unfolded just before 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2025, leaving three people dead and five others injured in what police are calling a targeted incident involving multiple shooters.
The violence erupted in the parking lot of El Camaron Gigante, a restaurant located directly across the street from the Glendale Police Department headquarters, during a large public event.
Authorities say the entire incident took just three minutes — a brief but deadly span of time that changed multiple lives before officers arrived on scene.
According to Glendale Police, approximately 200 to 300 people were in attendance at the restaurant, where a concert and car show were being held.
Families and community members had gathered for the evening’s festivities when a physical altercation broke out near the stage between two groups.
Security personnel reportedly instructed those involved in the altercation to leave the venue.
Once outside in the parking lot, the situation escalated rapidly into gunfire, with multiple individuals reportedly exchanging shots.

Police emphasize that the incident appears to have stemmed from a personal dispute between known parties and is not believed to pose an ongoing threat to the general public.
The scene remains active, with the entire block cordoned off by crime scene tape. Detectives, forensic teams, and officers continue to process evidence near the restaurant.
