Bradley May dead following shooting on University Boulevard in Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is dead and a woman is recovering in the hospital following an early morning shooting in Louisville’s Fourth Division, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD).

Just after midnight on Sunday, May 4, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 400 block of University Boulevard.

Upon arrival, officers located two gunshot victims—a man, later identified as Bradley May, and an adult female.

Officers immediately initiated life-saving measures until emergency medical personnel arrived and transported both individuals to UofL Hospital in critical condition.

Later in the morning, police confirmed that Bradley May succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

The woman’s condition was later updated to non-life-threatening, and she remains hospitalized.

The LMPD Homicide Unit is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Authorities have confirmed that all individuals involved have been identified and accounted for, though no arrests or charges have been announced at this time.

Suspect in custody after shooting at Meridian Mall

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.

As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.

The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.

At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.

Law enforcement officials continue to investigate the incident and are expected to provide additional information as it becomes available.

The public is asked to remain clear of the immediate area to allow for the ongoing investigation.
