CANTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in Washington County, claiming the life of a 19-year-old Uniontown man.
According to Washington County Coroner Tim Warco, the victim, identified as Devyon Dennis, was shot at approximately 3:40 a.m. inside his girlfriend’s home on Broadmore Drive, located in the Washington Estates mobile home park in Canton Township.
Emergency responders were called to the scene, but Dennis was pronounced dead shortly after the incident.
Details surrounding the circumstances of the shooting remain limited at this time.
The Pennsylvania State Police Troop B Major Case Team has assumed responsibility for the investigation, which remains active and ongoing.

Suspect in custody after shooting at Meridian Mall

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
