Washington D.C. Police Investigating Southeast Triple Shooting That Leaves One Dead, Two Juveniles Injured
Authorities in Washington, D.C. are investigating a multi-victim shooting that occurred Thursday at approximately 3328 14th Place Southeast, resulting in the death of one individual and the injury of two others.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to reports of gunfire at the Southeast location and discovered three individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.
One victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The two additional victims, both juveniles, sustained non-fatal gunshot injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Their conditions have not been publicly disclosed at this time.
The identity of the deceased victim has not yet been released, pending next-of-kin notification.
Homicide detectives are leading the investigation.
Authorities have not released any suspect information or a possible motive behind the shooting.

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.
Law enforcement officials continue to investigate the incident and are expected to provide additional information as it becomes available.
