Cartersville Police Arrest Alleya Henry After Fatal Shooting at Gas Station Parking Lot
CARTERSVILLE, Ga. — Authorities in Cartersville have arrested a 25-year-old woman following a deadly shooting late Friday night in the parking lot of a local gas station.
According to the Cartersville Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 11:14 p.m. on April 4, 2025, to the Victory Fuels gas station located at 118 North Tennessee Street.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim in the parking lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Following a preliminary investigation, police arrested Alleya Noel Henry, 25, at the scene.
Officials have not yet released the circumstances surrounding the incident, including what may have led to the shooting or whether Henry had any prior relationship with the victim.
Her exact charges have not been publicly disclosed as of Saturday.
The identity of the deceased male has not yet been released pending next-of-kin notification.

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
