Barricade Situation in Dundalk Ends with Suspect Found Deceased

UPDATE: A barricade situation in Dundalk concluded Tuesday morning after an armed suspect was found deceased inside a residence from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to authorities.
At approximately 7:30 a.m., officers from the Dundalk Precinct responded to a report of a prior firearms discharge in the 2500 block of Gray Manor Terrace (ZIP code 21222).
While investigating the incident, officers came under fire from a nearby resident.
Law enforcement personnel returned fire and immediately initiated a barricade response.
Multiple agencies, including the Harford County Sheriff’s Office, Baltimore City Police, Maryland State Police, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), assisted in securing the scene and bringing the situation to a close.
No officers or civilians were injured during the incident.
Authorities continue to investigate, and additional details will be released as they become available.

DUNDALK, MD – Authorities are responding to an active shooting situation in the 2500 block of Gray Manor Terrace, where a suspect armed with a rifle has opened fire on law enforcement officers.
According to initial reports, officers came under gunfire and have returned fire while calling for additional units and SWAT support.


Residents in the area are urged to avoid the vicinity and take immediate shelter.

Suspect in custody after shooting at Meridian Mall

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.
Law enforcement officials continue to investigate the incident and are expected to provide additional information as it becomes available.
