Video Captures Deadly Shootout: Two Deputies Wounded, Suspect Killed at Carroll County Gas Station
CARROLL COUNTY, VA – A violent confrontation at a Love’s Truck Stop in the Lamsburg area ended with two sheriff’s deputies wounded and the suspect fatally shot, authorities confirmed.
The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) was alerted by the Greensboro Police Department regarding the possible whereabouts of a suspect involved in a previous shooting incident in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Upon arrival at the Love’s Truck Stop, located off Interstate 77, Exit 1, deputies identified the suspect’s vehicle, a Swift tractor-trailer, parked in the lot.
As law enforcement attempted to approach the suspect, an exchange of gunfire ensued.
During the confrontation, two CCSO deputies sustained gunshot wounds.
Both deputies were immediately transported to local hospitals for emergency medical treatment.
Authorities have confirmed that the suspect was fatally shot during the altercation.
At this time, law enforcement officials have not released additional details regarding the suspect’s identity, the conditions of the injured deputies, or the events leading up to the shootout.

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.
