1 dead, 2 Injured After Shooting at Richert Manor Apartments in Flint

Flint, MI – Detectives with the Flint Major Case Unit are actively investigating a deadly shooting that occurred early Sunday morning at the Richert Manor apartment complex.

At approximately 4 a.m. on March 24, officers responded to a 911 call reporting gunfire at the 900 block of Court Street.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered three male victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

One victim, identified as 23-year-old Kevin Williams of Flint, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

A second victim, an 18-year-old Flint man, sustained critical injuries and remains in serious condition.

The third victim, a 23-year-old Flint man, is recovering from non-life-threatening injuries.

The Michigan State Police (MSP) has not released any details regarding potential suspects or a motive for the shooting. As of Monday morning, no arrests had been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Suspect in custody after shooting at Meridian Mall

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.

As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.

The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.

At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.

Law enforcement officials continue to investigate the incident and are expected to provide additional information as it becomes available.

The public is asked to remain clear of the immediate area to allow for the ongoing investigation.
