19-year-old Tayon Dopson killed after shooting near Coleman Court Apartments in Dublin

DUBLIN, Ga. — Law enforcement officials are investigating the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old male that occurred near an apartment complex on Sunday night.
According to a statement from the Dublin Police Department, officers responded to reports of a shooting near the Coleman Court Apartments shortly before 9:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, they discovered the victim, identified as 19-year-old Tayon Dopson, deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
The Dublin Police Department, in collaboration with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), has launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Authorities have not released details regarding potential suspects or motives at this time.

Suspect in custody after shooting at Meridian Mall

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.
