Baltimore County Officer and Suspect Shot Outside Wilkins Precinct

Baltimore County, MD – March 13, 2025 – A Baltimore County police officer was shot in the abdomen outside the Wilkins Precinct in a confrontation that also left the suspect wounded.

The shooting occurred just outside the Wilkins Precinct.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) quickly responded to the scene and transported both the officer and the suspect to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center for emergency medical treatment.

At this time, details regarding what led to the shooting, as well as the condition of both individuals, remain under investigation.

Law enforcement agencies are actively securing the area and gathering evidence.

Authorities have not yet released the identity of the officer or the suspect, nor have they provided information regarding any potential motive or preceding events.

Baltimore County Police officials have urged the public to avoid the area while the investigation is underway.

Suspect in custody after shooting at Meridian Mall

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.

As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.

The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.

At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.

Law enforcement officials continue to investigate the incident and are expected to provide additional information as it becomes available.

The public is asked to remain clear of the immediate area to allow for the ongoing investigation.
