Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Apparent Murder-Suicide in Moncks Corner
MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office has launched an investigation after a man and a woman were found deceased in a Moncks Corner residence Wednesday morning, March 12, 2025.
Deputies responded to a home on Cicadas Song Drive just after 6:30 a.m., following a 911 call from a family member who had discovered the victims.
Upon arrival, authorities found two individuals with fatal gunshot wounds.
Preliminary findings indicate that the deaths were domestic-related, and detectives are treating the case as a possible murder-suicide.
The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office is working to formally identify the deceased and determine the official cause of death.
The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.
