Woman Arrested Following Triple Shooting at Walgreens in Central West End
ST. LOUIS, MO – A 19-year-old woman has been taken into custody following a violent altercation that led to a triple shooting outside a Walgreens store in the 4200 block of Lindell Boulevard on Friday evening.
The suspect, identified as Markayla Marbley, faces charges including two counts of first-degree assault and two counts of armed criminal action, according to authorities.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the violence erupted when a 22-year-old man and a 21-year-old man became involved in a physical altercation in the store’s parking lot.
During the fight, a 22-year-old woman attempted to intervene.
At that point, Marbley, the sister of the 21-year-old male involved in the fight, allegedly produced a firearm and opened fire.
The gunfire struck:
- The 22-year-old woman,
- The 22-year-old man, and
- The 21-year-old man.
All three victims were transported to the hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.
Marbley was not injured during the incident and was taken into custody at the scene. A firearm was recovered as evidence.
The investigation remains active as detectives continue to gather evidence and determine the full circumstances leading to the shooting.

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
