Man Charged with Second-Degree Murder in Fatal Shooting of 15-Year-Old Allison Robersi Castillo

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. – 30-year-old Roberto Pierre Elias Zaldivar has been charged with second-degree murder following the fatal shooting of 15-year-old Allison Robersi Castillo early Sunday morning. At approximately 12:22 a.m. on Sunday, March 2, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 6300 block of Pewter Avenue.

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. – A 30-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder following the fatal shooting of 15-year-old Allison Robersi Castillo early Sunday morning.

According to the Chesterfield County Police Department, Roberto Pierre Elias Zaldivar, 30, of Colonial Heights, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony in connection with the incident.

At approximately 12:22 a.m. on Sunday, March 2, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 6300 block of Pewter Avenue.

Upon arrival, they discovered Castillo and Elias Zaldivar inside a vehicle, both suffering from gunshot wounds.

Elias Zaldivar was transported to a hospital, where he remains in the custody of the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials confirmed that Castillo succumbed to her injuries.

Authorities initially withheld the victim’s identity pending family consent.

Police have indicated that the shooting appears to be an isolated incident, and no additional suspects are being sought at this time.

Suspect in custody after shooting at Meridian Mall

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.

As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.

The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.

At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.

Law enforcement officials continue to investigate the incident and are expected to provide additional information as it becomes available.

The public is asked to remain clear of the immediate area to allow for the ongoing investigation.
