Rapper G$ Lil Ronnie and daughter killed after shooting at Slappy’s Express Car Wash in Forest Hill
FOREST HILL, Texas – Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred Monday morning at Slappy’s Express Car Wash on Forest Hill Drive, resulting in the deaths of two individuals.
According to law enforcement officials, officers and emergency responders arrived at the scene and confirmed two fatalities.
Aerial footage from local media outlets revealed a large crime scene marked with numerous evidence markers.
A family member at the scene identified the victims as North Texas rapper G$ Lil Ronnie, also known as Lil Ronnie “Chuckie” Smith, and his 5-year-old daughter.
“He was a rapper. He didn’t bother anybody. He wasn’t targeting anyone. He was a family man, and he was focused on his music. Why would someone target him?” said Stella Houston, the victim’s aunt.
The tragic incident drew a significant crowd, prompting authorities to call in additional officers for crowd control.
As of now, the Forest Hill Police Department has not released an official statement regarding the circumstances of the shooting.
The identities of the victims have not been formally confirmed by authorities, and no suspect information has been disclosed.

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
