4 shot, 1 dead in Portsmouth shooting
The Portsmouth Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that left one man dead and three others injured in the 2900 block of Arcadia Avenue.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 9:11 p.m. Upon arrival, they located two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
One individual was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the second victim, identified as 24-year-old Remonds Delbridge, was found unresponsive and pronounced deceased at the scene.
Two additional victims, also connected to the incident, later arrived at a local hospital seeking treatment for their injuries.
Their conditions have not been disclosed.
During the course of the investigation, Animal Control officers removed at least five dogs from the property.

Suspect in custody after shooting at Meridian Mall
MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.
Law enforcement officials continue to investigate the incident and are expected to provide additional information as it becomes available.
The public is asked to remain clear of the immediate area to allow for the ongoing investigation.
