Victims killed in Tulsa Ambush shooting identified

The Tulsa Police Department (TPD) is actively investigating a fatal ambush-style shooting that left two teenagers dead and two others wounded early Saturday morning.
At approximately 1:30 a.m. on February 8, 2025, officers responded to reports of gunfire at an apartment complex near 11800 E. 21st Street.
Upon arrival, officers discovered four teenage victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
Two 18-year-old victims, identified as Jett Brummett and Primo Jr, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The two surviving victims—an 18-year-old and a 19-year-old—were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Their current conditions have not been disclosed.
Authorities report that multiple residents in the area heard the gunfire and came outside to investigate, with some attempting to provide aid to the victims before emergency responders arrived.
Responding officers secured the crime scene and preserved critical evidence, while the Crime Scene Unit collected multiple shell casings as part of the ongoing investigation.
The Homicide Unit is leading the investigation and urges the public to come forward with any relevant information.

Suspect in custody after shooting at Meridian Mall

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.
Law enforcement officials continue to investigate the incident and are expected to provide additional information as it becomes available.
The public is asked to remain clear of the immediate area to allow for the ongoing investigation.
