41-year-old man killed after shooting outside Papi Gallo Cantina in San Antonio
SAN ANTONIO, TX — A fatal shooting outside a popular nightclub early Sunday morning has left one man dead and another hospitalized, according to the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD).
The incident occurred around 1:15 a.m. near the intersection of Grosvenor Boulevard and Commercial Avenue, outside the Papi Gallo Cantina.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the victims had been involved in an argument with a group of individuals inside the nightclub.
The confrontation escalated when the parties moved outside, where gunfire erupted.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 41-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second victim, whose identity has not been released, sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The condition of the hospitalized individual has not been disclosed.
The suspects fled the scene immediately after the shooting, and no arrests have been made at this time.
SAPD detectives are actively investigating the case, reviewing surveillance footage, and speaking with witnesses to identify the individuals responsible.

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
