20-year-old Elijah Hicks killed in East Price Hill shooting
CINCINNATI, Ohio — The Cincinnati Police Department has identified the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred Saturday night in East Price Hill.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 3100 block of West Liberty Street at approximately 9:15 p.m.
Upon arrival, they found 20-year-old Elijah Hicks suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Cincinnati Fire Department personnel attempted life-saving measures, but Hicks was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident remains under active investigation by the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the shooting to come forward by contacting the Homicide Unit at 513-352-3542. Tips can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers.

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.
