13-year-old Johvan Taylor shot and killed in Florida City neighborhood
Homestead, FL – A Florida City neighborhood was the scene of a devastating incident Saturday night when 13-year-old Johvan Taylor was fatally shot.
The shooting occurred around 10:20 p.m. in the area of Northwest 13th Street and Sixth Avenue. Police from Florida City and Homestead responded to the scene after reports of gunfire.

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
