Law enforcement sources have revealed that the suspected gunman who fatally shot UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson used a fraudulent New Jersey identification card to check into a hostel on Manhattan’s Upper West Side prior to the attack.
According to investigators, the suspect secured accommodations at the HI New York City Hostel, located at 891 Amsterdam Avenue, using the counterfeit ID.
Surveillance footage captured the individual at the hostel in the hours leading up to the shooting, which occurred outside the New York Hilton Midtown in a brazen, premeditated attack.

Suspect in custody after shooting at Meridian Mall

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
