What should have been a day of gratitude and unity turned into heartbreak for a family in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida, when a noise complaint escalated into a fatal shooting, leaving 72-year-old Hureleyon McLean dead.

The tragedy unfolded in a quiet condominium complex, shattering the peace and sending waves of grief through the community.

The victim’s wife, Rose, recounted the devastating events that took her husband’s life.

What began as a seemingly minor disagreement over the volume of music turned into a deadly confrontation. “He was just enjoying his music,” she shared, her voice heavy with disbelief and sorrow.

The situation escalated rapidly, culminating in a gunshot that echoed through the complex. “I was inside when I heard it,” Rose said, her expression reflecting the horror of the moment.

She rushed outside to discover her worst fears realized: her husband had been fatally shot.

Rose also described the chilling aftermath, revealing that the suspect allegedly threatened her as well. “He told me he could have shot me too,” she recounted, still shaken by the ordeal.
