23-year-old Nickqurious Hooks dies 2 days after Montgomery shooting

A 23-year-old Montgomery man has succumbed to injuries sustained in a Wednesday shooting, authorities confirmed.
The victim, identified as Nickqurious Hooks, was critically wounded in the incident and passed away on Friday, according to Montgomery Police Major Saba Coleman. Hooks lived in Montgomery.
Emergency responders were dispatched at 11:02 a.m. on Wednesday to the 3400 block of Harris Street following reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers and medics found Hooks suffering from critical injuries.
He was transported to a local hospital, where he was treated but ultimately succumbed to his injuries two days later.

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
