Cantrelle Ross dead after shooting in Savannah
A woman has tragically lost her life following a shooting early Thursday morning in Savannah, Georgia. The Savannah Police Department reported that officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 1400 block of Augusta Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a woman, later identified as Cantrelle Ross, lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.
Emergency Medical Services were called to the scene, but despite their efforts, Ross was pronounced dead at the location.

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
