39-year-old Leonard McCall Jr killed in Lorain shooting

A tragic shooting on Monday has claimed the life of a 39-year-old Lorain resident, identified as Leonard McCall Jr. Authorities are now turning to the community for assistance in locating the person responsible.
The incident occurred in the 400 block of West 14th Street, where officers from the Lorain Police Department responded to reports of gunfire.

Suspect in custody after shooting at Meridian Mall

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
