Portez Smith charged for the murder in shooting death of 31-year-old Jesse Grover in Sharon

Authorities in Sharon, Pennsylvania, have identified the suspect in the shooting death of a man early Sunday morning.
Incident Overview
The Sharon Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Sunday at an apartment located on the 300 block of Logan Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers discovered 31-year-old Jesse Grover suffering from a gunshot wound.
Despite officers’ efforts to provide immediate medical aid, Grover succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Suspect Details
Police identified the suspect as 25-year-old Portez Smith, also of Sharon.
According to authorities, Smith faces charges of criminal homicide and firearms not to be carried without a license.
Smith was taken into custody and transported to the Mercer County Jail.
He is awaiting arraignment by Judge Brian Arthur, although court records have not yet listed an official arraignment date.
