1 killed after shooting on Ivory Heights area in Camden, suspect Marcus Epps in custody

On November 3, 2024, at approximately 1:40 a.m., officers from the Camden Police Department were dispatched to the Ivory Heights area in response to a reported gunshot victim.
The victim was transported by air to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Following an in-depth investigation into the fatal shooting, authorities identified Marcus Epps as the suspect in this case.
In an effort to apprehend Epps, officers proceeded to a residence in Camden associated with the suspect.
The homeowner, identified as Trameisha Tooks, was found to be uncooperative with the investigation.
Consequently, a search warrant for the residence, as well as an arrest warrant for Epps, were obtained.
During the execution of the search warrant, officers located and arrested Epps without incident.
Additionally, Tooks was taken into custody for allegedly hindering the apprehension of a suspect wanted on Capital Murder charges.

Suspect in custody after shooting at Meridian Mall

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.
Law enforcement officials continue to investigate the incident and are expected to provide additional information as it becomes available.
The public is asked to remain clear of the immediate area to allow for the ongoing investigation.
