A tragic shooting incident occurred at a high school party in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on October 19th, 2024, resulting in the death of a 17-year-old and injuries to several others.
Police responded to a call about shots fired at a home on the 4900 block of Manistee Drive around 10:30 PM.
Upon arrival, officers discovered multiple victims with gunshot wounds.

In self-defense, another partygoer fatally shot Ivy.
The homeowner, 42-year-old Joanna Eastes, has been arrested and charged with neglect of a dependent, furnishing property for the purpose of enabling minors to consume alcohol, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The incident highlights the dangers of underage parties and the importance of responsible adult supervision.
MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.
