Chicago rapper Q50WLil50 killed after shooting in South Side
At least 10 shell casings were recovered from the scene along with Anthony’s belongings.
The Cook County Medical Examiner has identified the teenager fatally shot on Tuesday night, October 22nd, as 15-year-old Anthony, known by his rap name “Q50wLil50.”
The shooting occurred around 8:30 PM in the area of 66th & Champlain.
Responding to reports of gunfire, Chicago police discovered Anthony in an alley with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was rushed to Comer Children’s Hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
According to the Chicago Police Department (CPD), Anthony was waiting for someone in an alley when an unidentified offender approached him.
A brief struggle ensued before the offender fired several shots and fled on foot.
At least 10 shell casings were recovered from the scene along with Anthony’s belongings.
Anthony, inspired by rap music, aspired to become a rapper himself and had recently participated in an interview with “Dju.”
This incident tragically highlights the ongoing issue of gun violence claiming the lives of young people.

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
