18-year-old Jesse Kendall killed after shooting outside United Center in Chicago

A tragic shooting incident occurred on Saturday night outside the United Center in Chicago, resulting in the death of an 18-year-old Jesse Kendall.

The victim, whose identity has not been formally released, was shot in the chest and transported to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.

Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries.

Two other individuals, a 19-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy, were also wounded in the shooting.

The 19-year-old remains in critical condition, while the 15-year-old sustained minor injuries, including a graze to the abdomen and a gunshot wound to the hand.

Both victims are receiving treatment at Stroger Hospital.

The shooting took place around 6:56 PM in the 100 block of North Wolcott Avenue, just minutes before the Lil Durk concert began. The incident occurred near a United Center parking lot.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation, and no arrests have been made at this time.

Suspect in custody after shooting at Meridian Mall

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.

As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.

The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.

At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.

Law enforcement officials continue to investigate the incident and are expected to provide additional information as it becomes available.

The public is asked to remain clear of the immediate area to allow for the ongoing investigation.
