22-year-old Woman and her unborn child killed in Kenosha shooting

UPDATE: 9/7 @ 8:41 PM: The Kenosha Police Department has identified Lawrence G. Franklin Jr (25 years old) as the suspect in yesterday’s homicide.
Lawrence is 5’03 and weighs approximately 105 pounds. Lawrence knows that he is wanted by the police. He should be considered armed and dangerous.

A tragic incident occurred in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Friday, September 6th. A 22-year-old pregnant woman was found fatally shot in her car, parked near the intersection of 65th Street and 13th Avenue.
Kenosha Police Department officers responded to the scene after receiving reports of a shooting around 4:30 PM.
Upon arrival, they discovered the woman in a vehicle that had collided with a concrete pillar.
Despite immediate medical attention, both the woman and her unborn child were pronounced dead at a local hospital.
The victim has been identified as 22-year-old Amiah Lyń.
Authorities spent several hours at the scene collecting evidence and interviewing potential witnesses.
The suspect has been identified as Lawrence G. Franklin Jr.

Suspect in custody after shooting at Meridian Mall

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
At this time, police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the shooting, including whether anyone was injured or the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s arrest.
