“Joppatowne High School families, please be informed that the Harford County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the school today to address an isolated incident on campus. There was a physical altercation between known individuals, during which a weapon was brought onto the school grounds and used. We are currently investigating the matter.”

The school was evacuated at approximately 12:45 PM. While the Harford County Sheriff’s Office confirmed there was no active threat, they did not immediately disclose the nature of the investigation.

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that a suspect is in custody following a shooting incident at the Meridian Mall on Friday afternoon.
As a result, the lockdown at the mall has been lifted.
The Meridian Township Police Department issued a public advisory just before 2:00 p.m., urging residents and shoppers to avoid the area near the Dick’s Sporting Goods entrance while officers conducted an active investigation at the scene.
